Understanding the recycling behavior of attendees will aid event mangers to plan for future waste management procedures at this and other events. For many schools, this is the first year a waste education program has been offered and delivered in their region. The presentation program was customized to support the available regional services and focused on waste minimization and organics recycling and included: Nature’s recycles (Composting and Worm Farming), Litter and the Environment and Think Food Rethink Waste. EnviroCom Australia (EnviroCom) is an experienced environmental consultancy that has delivered education, research and training services to the public and private sectors since 1998. Envirocom’s staff are skilled in the provision of education program planning and delivery strategic planning for education and community research curriculum resource development community behavior change programs corporate and business training and education waste stream assessment and waste management planning.
