Now, Oz Wildlife Studio Art Classes have been successfully enriching students at any stage of their art journey, in its second year, proudly, in the creative process. This Gallery will showcase the student's work to enable grandparents, relatives, friends and the general public to see. Every student who attends Oz Wildlife Studio Art Classes also has their very own "Virtual Gallery" on the beautiful and professional website which is updated regularly. Free wireless internet connection will also be available to all students plus access to a computer, printer and a large library of art books and resources. The aim for the younger students is to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills in using a wide variety of media in a range of art forms in both 2D and 3D. Many of these youngsters are not fortunate enough in their schooling to have had kind of any art training and whilst the classes will still be fun for this younger age group, they are very much about being taught the right skills way beyond simply "play time". The Classes for 7-9 years old are much more structured with an introduction to the wide range of art media which is available to them and more guidance in control of the media, colour mixing and building on skills whilst still allowing these young creatives to choose their own subject matter and work at their own pace, enabling their confidence to grow. Digital works may also be explored and students can bring along laptops for tuition in Photoshop and Illustrator. The classes will prepare and guide these young adults, alongside their school art, in paving a way for them to perhaps follow a career in the visual arts. The design process will be explored from visual diary work through to folio pieces and then onto major artworks. The Classes for 10-17 years old allow total freedom for experimentation using a wide range of art media in 2D and 3D with the student's own choice of subject matter. (more).
