Whalewatch Ocean Beach Resort is the very first resort perched on the apex of Point Lookout, lofty above the pristine white sands of main beach. Our idyllic setting and lofty elevation present vacationers proximity to all the best cafes, beaches and the lovely North Gorge Walk. Whalewatch Ocean BeachResort is a five minute walk to some of the superior land based viewing platforms in the World. Marine life abounds on the Gorge Walk dolphins, Manta Rays, turtles. There are two new water lakes that receive your breath away. Breath in the new sea air, walk along the many stretches of pristine beaches and enjoy the wildlife from Kangaroos, koala’s, kookaburras, eagles and a massive array of native birds. Our Oceanside Apartments are rent able as one, two or three bedroom units and enjoy all the features of our National Park side Apartments with full size kitchen, lounge and dining areas. In addition, the Oceanside Apartment units have been recently renovated and appreciate lofty positions within the complex, affording to vary degrees of views of the ocean from the generous balconies. All of these apartments have air conditioning in the main living area with some having AC in the master bedroom as well.
